Does the manual hibernation/suspend work OK when the BIOS is set to Manual?

When you do a DIR in a DOS prompt box of the hibernation file, is the 
filename all in uppercase (like DOS) or does it have some lowercase 
characters (like a Windows 95 filename)? If it's the latter, perhaps 
there's a problem in writing to the Windows 95 filename?
