Hard Drive Upgrades - notes for 755 family

I've been looking for (and buying) drives for my thinkpad.  I've
broken the challenge into finding a reliable vendor who knows about
thinkpads and finding a drive that someone says works in thinkpads.
Here's what I've culled from this list serve.  The rubber meets the
road when you call around for price and availability.

    These are apparently the OEM "bare drive" versions =
