Some questions...

Hi all.  Now that I'm bringing my 'pad to work, I need to pick up a couple
things.

What was/is the consensus on power adapters?  I'd like to leave the regular
one that shipped with my 755cx at home and have something at work so I can
just "plug-in".

Also, I have a 3COM 3c589B combo PCMCIA ethernet card, which works pretty
well; except that I have twisted-pair at work and thin-ether at home, and
the 3COM card won't "switch" except by rebooting the computer.  This is
getting annoying enough that I'm considering a replacement ethernet card.
Any suggestions for what might work well in my situation?
