I was one of those, but I feel unqualified for a number of reasons:

1.  I played for a week with a 760C (not a CD), but that's it.
2.  I've never worked with or seen a 720CDT.
3.  I'm still in the process of setting it up.

We are a Windows 3.1 house, so I wiped the machine and have installed
Win 3.1/DOS 6.22.  IBM said that everything you can do multimedia-wise
with Windows 95, you can do with Windows 3.1.  I have downloaded from
their Web site and installed all the drivers.

I haven't worked with the modem yet or the port replicator.  The
machine does run *very* warm on the bottom and I'm aware of the
complaints/issues with that.

I will also be trying to hook this into a TV later before handing this
off to a marketing person.  I also haven't really tested the CD-ROM
yet, so you can see, I've a ways to go.

I have downloaded a few MPEG files, both sound and video.  I was
impressed by the clarity of the sound on the speakers even when turned
up, but the MPEG standard and the IBM drivers get credit for that.
I'm open to hearing about any "drop-dead" MPEG clips on the WWW that I
can download. 8^)

I have not had to wait long with service and have had no problems with
the drivers.  Also, no problems (yet) with the pixels.  From the side,
you still get a good view of the screen.
