Interestingly, I was able to switch media (running the command line dos 
utility to alter config) on the fly under DOS/Windows.... until I 
switched to CardSoft's CardWizard. Then I had to eject the card and 
reenter it. Give that a try - it's vnot as good as a working driver, but 
it beats rebooting.
