GPS - source

Greetings!
If my memory doesn't fail me too much, I seem to remember that someone
in this list had been playing with a GPS device, hooked up to a TP. I
have a friend who would like to acquire one of these gizmos and, although
this is not the proper forum, I thought I would ask where GPSs can be
bought cheap. Thanks for all the info.
