Part number #44G3740 is a ThinkPad 720C battery. It slides into the front of a
720C (presumably also a 700/720, since they're similar models) and the locking
plate up front snaps it into place.

It also so happens that I need another battery for my 720C :) If you're 
interested in selling it (too bad you're in the UK, shipping might be a bitch),
let me know.
