        Not unless you put it in a *very* weird place!

        For what its worth, I somehow had 2 nameplates I pulled from my 750C
when I sold it.  On my 701, I discovered I can put one inside the lid just
above the screen and also just above the keyboard (to the left of the LED's)
just behind a slightly raised area.  Both locations show your nameplate
relatively well (assuming you want that) and do not interfere with any
physical operations of the computer (opening, closing, etc.).

        I found it not too difficult to take off my 750C, but it was awfully
tough to do so without tweaking the nameplate.
