Re: PCMCIA Ethernet adapter problem
I'd say check with manufacturer. Sounds like you got a bad disk. If they
don't respond, I'd send the card back and get a 'real' one ;)

Subject: PCMCIA Ethernet adapter problem
Hi!
I just bought a PCMCIA Ethernet adapter (SureCom EtherPerfect EP-427).
There is a diskette with an OS/2 driver which is a Windows(!) program
(according to EXEHDR, and it has the Win-stub in it ("this program req M$
win").).
Besides, there are lost clusters on the disk. Very strange.
Has anyone successfully used this adapter under OS/2 (Connect). It should
be NE2000 comaptible, as soon as the above driver has run. In the
Plug&Play object, the card is identified as "TAMARACK Ethernet A".
I searched the WWW for drivers, but without success.
Any help appreciated!
PS: I have a TP 701CS.
