IBM Thinkpad "Kite"

Hi all,

here's some preliminary information from an IBM employee about
the upcoming followup to the 701 "Butterfly", codename "Kite":

- 120 MHz Pentium CPU
- 8 MB RAM
- 800 MB HD
- 11.3" ?VGA display DSTN or 12.1" SVGA TFT display
- 1.2 kg weight
- normal ThinkPad keyboard: keycap width 19mm, key travel 3mm
- lithium ion battery

The IBM person gave no hint about the pricing or actual availability dates.
He said that it'll probably be announced on May 21st here in Finland (that's
when the 365X/XD-line will be announced here as well).
