I installed it recently on my 750C. The instructions at
http://peipa.essex.ac.uk/tp-linux/tp-linxux.html are quite ok.
Use the 2.0 compatible bootdisk you find there and follow the instructions
regarding "changing the disk when it says uncompressing..." linux.,..."
Then you can use the color install disk a(and the rest oiff the disks) from
the slackware 3.0 distribution, which makes the install a little easier.

If you use a newer kernel (since 1,..3.50 something...) you can use
power management too, and . Good luck!
