Re: Using GlidePoint pad with TP755

The Glidepoint saga fixed (kindof)...

If you disable the Trackpoint in the ThinkPad setup under Keyboard_Pointing
Device, the Glidepoint works with pad tapping. However, unless there is some
trick, this change requires a reboot (NOT plug and play), so whenever I
detatch from my port replicator, I will have to shutdown and restart. This
isn't what I had in mind, so I may have to give up on the Glidepoint tap
function.

If anyone knows of a way to turn the Trackpoint on and off without
rebooting, please let me know (ie...is there a trackpoint plug and play
driver that has a manual switch for enable/disable?)

Thanks

Mike Redmond
