Re: can someone send me mcifax.drv?

I've been using the Mwave 2.0 for over a month now and have no problem faxing.
There was a new version of FaxWorks placed on the IBM web site for the 2.0
update....you may need that.

Thanks of the information, Patrick. I have also been using MWAVE 2 for
a while, and I'm getting consistently good modem connections, but the
*only* thing that doesn't work is faxing, and my system persistently
complains about this driver I mentioned. I also am able to send faxes
using other programs that do not use this driver. So either FaxWorks
or that driver are broken. I often browse the MWAVE web site, I will
download from there on the off-chance that this will work. I really
like faxworks. It's one of the few reasons I still occasionally use
windows. The fax programs on Linux are actually much more convenient
to use, but they rasterise postscript or raw text, and the result is
very grainy.

My message only requested that if someone was willing to send the driver
to me, to get in touch with me. One kind person has already sent me the
driver, but I won't be sure it has unpacked properly. Today is the first
day in a while that I don't have my pad with me.

So, despite Patrick's prudent warning, I'm still interesting in hearing
from someone who successfully uses FaxWorks with MWAVE 2.

Thanks,
Eugene Fiume.
