According to IBM, the MWAVE 28.8 software upgrade will be released early next month, so I'd wait before buying a Megahertz PCMCIA if you own a 755ce/cd. As for whether 28.8 is ever obtainable, the answer is generally no. I use a external Supra modem with my 755cd, and rarely get above 26.4. My average is around 24K. Michael MacDonald macd@panix.com
