As a relatively new 755CE owner, I'd say that the CX is a decidedly
better package for an initial purchase (assuming it's available).  The
two main improvements of higher-res screen and faster CPU are nice, but
not overwhelming.  As a graphics person, I always appreciate better
screen densities, but I think would find myself going for larger fonts
given that screen size isn't changing.  And a P75 *should* be faster
than a DX4/100, but qualitatively I'm not so sure.  The L2 cache sounds
interesting, however.  When I come back from sabbatical in a year, I'm
hoping there will be be a P100 or higher upgrade available.

Can anyone in the know comment on the relative speeds of a P100 vs a
good PowerPC chip?
