Note that win 3.11 is _not_ windows for workgroups.
win 3.11 is just like win 3.1 ; it simply has some bug fixes and updated
drivers.  windows for workgroups has many more fundamental changes, most
notable is its client to client networking (i.e. 'disk sharing').

you can download the win 3.1 to win 3.11 upgrade for free via anonymous ftp
to ftp.microsoft.com.  look in the 'persops' directory, or something like
that (persops=personal operating systems).  it wasn't hard to find.
