ok, here it is...

Let's say that (hypothetically) someone would be willing to allow users
to log in to an account in which the disks would be available for about two
days. this would not be 100% what ibm wants, but then again we are all in 
the same boat... let's say also that someone was a super-user at some
machine and could set this up... assuming that this could be done, could
someone ftp the disks to the system in question?

if this is possible, and you have the disks (latest release) send email and
miracles could happen...

(sorry about the roundabout way of saying things in the message, but then again
 i follow CYA policies in this system...)
