RE: e-clerk computer options

After talking to Tom about video capture, it seems to make sense to go
with the built-in firewire ports and use a digital video camera to
capture continuously at 30 fps. There are relatively cheap ones that
run for $300-$400 that would capture at somewhere around 1 megapixel.

Tom, do you know of a good place to look for appropriate drivers for
capturing video from these cameras with Linux?

Machine prices: The 450 workstation is approximately $4350 from Dell's
website, minus whatever discount MIT gets and whatever we save from
calling Dell and asking them to not factory install an OS (no OS is not
an option for the workstations when you configure them online). The 650
workstation is approximately $4550.

Jon, what is the total price for each system?
