Implicit Surfaces -- Disadvantages
- One cannot easily enumerate points on the surface.
- How do you represent a hemisphere? Or any bounded
portion of an implicit surface?

- Parametrize the surface, or
- Use constructive solid geometry
- Not easy to piecewise
join them and maintain continuity and smoothness.
