1. Launch the capture tool by double clicking on the IndyCam icon.
2. Click on the icon in the lower left corner and select the camera.
3. Select the Settings option under the Actions menu and enter the filename you wish to save your picture as.
4. Position the IndyCam and take your picture by clicking on Record in the lower right corner.
5. To see how the picture turned out, click on Preview also in the lower right corner.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 as many times as necessary to get a picture you like. Unless you change the filename that your picture is stored in, only the most recent picture will be saved. The various windows which pop up can be deleted by clicking on the minus sign in the upper left corner and selecting quit.
7. After you have saved your picture convert it to gif format and save it in the class picture repository by using the following command:
Notes: The IndyCam's can be found on SGI Indy's and step 7 must be done on an athena SGI.
