layer-inferred space tags for obscure space types

is there information in the layer contents that we
do not, or cannot, get from the space labels?

for example, suppose we wanted to show all bathrooms
on campus, or show the nearest bathroom to a given
location.  does that work in our (patrick's) current
framework?  what about showing all day care centers
on campus?

if not, then we can grab spaces, and infer their
types, by tagging them as they are read out from
various layers, as named here:
