David,
I can convert them for Seth... BUT... They wont be in the structure that
Seth wants until we clean them up... Which as you know will be no trivial
matter... Our absolute deadline for this is January when the building is
scheduled to be occupied... If we get the latest plans the architect has
polylined, this could happen in the next month or two if things go well...
Seth,
Does it help if I convert the un-structured plans to DXF in the interim?
Greg

Seth,
I'll track down the appropriate CAD floor plans.
Greg, if I give you these files can you do the appropriate conversion for
Seth?

david,
we'd like to put together a "you are here" and
route-finding app on big displays near the stata
entries, so that visitors can walk up to the
display, indicate a destination (or person, group,
lab etc.) in the building, and see a display of a
good route to that destination. (perhaps even get
a printout if we can put a public printer there.)
we have all the pieces we need to do this except
the stata floorplans. our current algorithms
use the MIT DXF floorplans posted on the DOF web
site. any chance we can get stata floorplans in
the same format with similar structure ?
thanks,
seth.
ps cc'ing greg knight as well.
