problem with truncated iv files

will --

some inventor files (e.g.,

 /scratch/willtor_extrude_MIT/willtor_new_run/test_run2/mit_W15/3D.iv

have no trailing } to close the first separator.

these are invalid inventor files, of course.

this may or may not be a consequence of your
policy to terminate processes that have taken
too much time.  if you do this, should you (or
run.pl) delete any files in progress at the
time of truncation?
