Raw Videos
The following demos demonstrate the full 16 tile Raw chip being emulated (Gate Level) at around 1MHz in a IKOS Logic Emulator.
- Audio Demo
This demo shows the Raw emulation system running a applicaion that does real-time audio filtering.
An 8-tile 8-tap FIR filter is used to do a Low Pass, High Pass, and All Pass filter, with the filter cycling between
these three filters by changing the coefficients every few seconds. (high-quality Divx;) 81MB, high-quality MS MPEG4 81MB, low-quality MPEG2 33MB)
- Video Demo
This demo shows the Raw emulation system running a video chroma-keying application. Two video streams are taken in, one from a camera
and one from a VCR and the green pixels of the camera video stream are replaced by the pixels coming from the VCR, much like when the weather-man stands
in front of a large mono-chromatic screen when giving the weather boradcast. This application uses all 16 tiles of the raw chip and uses the static
network for a custom data movement thus allowing full speed-up. (

The following demo demonstrates the prototype Raw chip being used.
- Second Video Demo!
This demo shows the same video demo running on the Raw "Handheld" board. (

high-quality MS MPEG4 67MB,
low-quality MPEG2 22MB)
- Audio Beamforming with 1020 Microphones
This demo shows a 1020 microphone array connected to the Raw "Handheld" board.
In this demo, several people at spatially disparate locations speak at the same time. First the audio is demonstrated with the audio
captured from only one microphone. Then the audio is demonstrated as it is being beamformed in software on the Raw chip focusing
the microphone array on the left most individual.
