• 200 Mhz Pentium Pros w/ Netscape 4.0, NT4.0, and 10Mbit Ethernet:

• speedup

  • 16 workers ? 91% ideal (in best case)
  • reasonable granularity (in this case < 1 s per work)

• JIT seq. performance comparable to C

  • at least for tight loops

• RC5: about 8x slower than hand-coded asm
