Compare to Thresholding
For these experiments, parameters were modified from previous to find
thinnest vessels, even at expense of noise. Initialization for
CURVES for these experiments was thresholding, not vertical bar.
In each row, the first image is maximum intensity projection of raw
data, the second image is output by thresholding only, the thrid
image is output of CURVES segmentation approach.
