On May 2, 2010, we visited Salem with my cousin, Janet Josselyn and her husband Ken, who were visiting the Boston area.  We walked down Chestnut street, admiring the homes built by privateering fortunes in the early 19th Century, spent a good chunk of the afternoon at the Peabody and Essex Museum, and had dinner overlooking Salem Harbor. And unlike the Josselyns’ last visit, there was no rain to nearly drown us!
