Erik Rauch began collecting articles for this project in 1995. The web site first went live at the beginning of the year 2001. By now it has grown to over 100,000 words. If you can help, please send mail to the editor at no-violence@ai.mit.edu, or call 617-253-8576.

  • The main thing the project needs is exposure. Let others know about the project, and encourage pro-life publications and newsletters to cover it; encourage web sites of related topics to link to the site.
  • Send in articles. If you can send them in electronic form, all the better; but if you only have a reference, we can probably locate the article and scan it in, even in relatively obscure sources.
  • The compilation is mainly focused on the situation in the United States. The situation in other countries is different, but many call for a similar project. You can help by setting up a compilation that relates to your country, using articles from this site that apply across national boundaries. Contact the editor if you lack access to electronic news archives.
