Ten meetings were held in 1929, including one special meeting in September.

Cleveland, "Some Studies on Termites and their Intestinal Protozoa, with Special Reference to the Sym- biotic Relationship between Certain Termites and their Protozoa." Sept. 10, Summer Collecting Notes. Oct. 8, Prof. C. T. Brues, "Notes on the Insect Fauna of a Pine Forest" ; Mr. P. J. Darlington, "Collecting Notes on Florida Beetles"; Dr. F. M. Carpenter, "Phytophagous Larvae in the Palaeozoic." Nov. 12, Prof. W. M. Wheeler, "A His- tory of Our Knowledge of the Ant Lions." Dec. 10, Mr. C. W. Johnson, "Some Notes on the Insects of Nantucket." Following a motion passed at the October meeting, the November and December meetings of the club were held in the Peabody Museum, Cambridge. The November meet- ing was the first to be held in Cambridge since March, '1903. Two new members were elected in December, making the total membership ninety-one.
