PC week says, "IBM will release early next year a 5-pound, 1-inch-thick
unit that sports an Intel Corp. Pentium processor, a 12.1-inch display,
and an external floppy drive..." 

1" thick is -really- thin .....like the DEC Hi-Lite Ultra ...or whatever 
it's called...

And... "IBM is also considering incorporating into new notebooks in 1996 a
13.3-inch display made by Display Technologies..."  ....aieee
