     The PC Outlet is, in fact, much different from PC Direct. They offer 
     refurbished and new (but very discontinued) equipment at some pretty 
     good prices. I got my 755 Cs from there and was very happy with the 
     deal.
     
     Their number is 800-426-7015 and offers a fax-back price list.
     
     One caveat, however: don't expect that handy sales-tax exemption for 
     out of state mail orders...IBM has incorporated in all 50 states, 
     therefore, you pay your home state's tax.

Hello all,
     
I've seen a few references here to the "IBM PC Outlet", can someone 
post the number?  Is this different than "IBM PC Direct"?
