Julie Shah

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and I lead the Interactive Robotics Group in CSAIL. My goal is to develop innovative methods for enabling more fluid human-robot teamwork in high intensity domains—drawing on expertise in artificial intelligence, human factors, and systems engineering. My research interests include multi-agent coordination, dynamic plan execution under uncertainty, and temporal reasoning. Prior to joining the faculty, I worked with Boeing Research and Technology on robotics applications for aerospace manufacturing.
