CSAIL Conference and Seminar Space Policies

CSAIL Conference and Seminar Space is to be used for Lab-related Research Activities

  1. Before booking the Kiva or Star conference rooms for a multi-day conference you must get approval from CSAIL Headquarters. Please contact Colleen Russell crussell@csail.mit.edu or Victoria Palay palay@csail.mit.edu for more information.
  2. It is the responsibility of the individual booking the space to take care of all the food arrangements (delivery, pick-up of equipment, etc.)
  3. If you are sponsoring an event you (as the booker) are the responsible party in implementing CSAIL policy.
  4. Please remember not to leave food or beverages in the seminar spaces. Place all trash in bags for pick up. Arrangements should be made with custodial services for large trash pick up (extra bags and barrels) - email: stata-custodial@mit.edu
  5. It is the responsibility of the individual running the meeting to clean up and return the room to its original condition.
  6. CSAIL follows MIT's policies regarding alcoholic beverages. For more information, refer to MIT's policies regarding alcoholic beverages. See:

  7. Smoking is prohibited at all times.
  8. Please remember to cancel reservations that are no longer needed.
