tuesday 4pm demos

BMG'ers,

a reminder that the MIT mapping & events group will be
visiting us at 4pm this tuesday.  here's a proposed list
of demos to show them.  please get your programs running
and iconified beforehand, so that we don't have to sit
around waiting for path names to be found, etc.

if you can't be there tuesday, please *let me know ASAP*
and send to bmg a list of complete paths and executables,
along with suggested machine names on which to run, for
your demo segment.  this will enable me or another
student will fill in.

here's the proposed schedule.  feel free to add a component
if i've omitted something.

  prof t:  intro.

  peter:   berkeley walkthrough of furnished soda hall model.
           show wkedit manipulating furniture if possible

  michael: BMG pipeline, including:
           raw dxf floorplan (in autocad)
           walls, and attendant processing
           single-floor 3D output & LODs
           multi-floor output
           inter-building adjacencies
           multi-building pipeline output

  vitaly:  raw (input) basemap
           triangulation & algorithm
           colored (output) basemap
           topo map

  patrick: location server
           MITquest
           route generation
