Using IRC

We are ourselves geographically distributed and we use irc to maintain a sense of proximity as one might get from having nearby offices. Channel "#dig" on irc.freenode.net is our irc space. We consider it to be ours like our office; do come in if you want to visit us.

We use theatre script notation; that is, when addressing another person specifically we type their nick followed by a comma. When we are recording a conversation we denote a quotation with a name (e.g. nick) followed by a colon.
