Topology Developments: The move to six neighbors

Although still enamoured with our novel 4-neighbor tetrahedral lattice topology

isomorphic to the diamond crystal, simulation results over the past year have been disappointing. If we restrict our choices to shortest routes, the tetrahedral lattice seems not to compete performance-wise with a conventional 6N cartesian lattice. To hedge our bets, we show how to preserve most advantages of our 4N design in a 6N cartesian topology.
