NuMesh Presentations
This file contains poster presentations and slides from recent talks
on the NuMesh. Although somewhat elliptic in the absence of the pitch
they are designed to accompany, they give a reasonable overview of
several aspects of our project.
-
NuMesh Communications Architecture:
Sequence describing the underlying communications primitives as well
as our current design for the per-node communications controller chip.
-
Topology developments:
Although last year we pushed a novel 4-neighbor 3D interconnect topology based
on the diamond crystal lattice, simulation results have favored a more
conventional 6-neighbor cartesian mesh. Here's how we salvaged the mechanical
virtues of the tetrahedral mesh in our 6N topology.
-
Rational clocking:
Want to choose clock frequencies independently without suffering
synchronization delays? Here's how.
-
Synchronous Clock Generation:
A phase-lock scheme for maintaining synchrony between clocks running
at a common frequency which doesn't suffer from "modular lockup" effects.
