Call for abstracts on work-in-progress

The ASPLOS VII program will have one afternoon session on work-in-progress and outrageous opinions. The session will be set up as a series of rapid fire presentations, hopefully with feedback from the audience in exactly the same vein. In this situation controversy is a decided advantage. (The session is patterned loosely after the "half-baked ideas" session at Sigmetrics and SOSP.)

If you are interested in participating in the WIP/OO session, send a one-page abstract of your idea to Important dates for this session are:

  • Friday Sept. 13: abstracts due to
  • Friday Sept. 27: abstract authors notified about acceptance or rejection
  • Thursday, Oct. 3, 2-3: the WIP/OO session
